Web Site Design

We Site Design is a one-year course in which students learn the technological means used to produce websites and web-related media. Cadets will determine their own goals for the course, the educational path they will take to learn the material, and develop a project goal for the year. The class is very hands-on and student-driven. Students improve their computer skills and learn to use publishing and photography related computer programs. Also, students learn to use a digital SLR camera and HD video recorder. Computer, photography, layout/design, writing instruction, web interface language, video editing, site design and user functionality are part of the class and are supplemented by developing their creations for use in the real world.
