On Friday, November 19, 2010, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia attended the Red Mass at St. Benedict Church. The Red Mass is dedicated to lawyers, judges and politicians in service of protecting the integrity of our laws in accordance with the moral teachings of the church. Afterwards, Justice Scalia gave a wonderful speech on the practice of living a simple Christian life vs. a "wise" post-Christian existence. These cadets were selected to escort Justice Scalia and other special guests into mass and then onto dinner at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
