Since 1911, Benedictine has formed four generations of Richmond’s young men for success in college and in life by caring for the spirit along with the mind. We aggressively seek to prepare students for the future by helping them reach their academic potential, developing leadership skills and cultivating their faith and spirituality.
Benedictine is a college preparatory school, which challenges our students to excel academically. With small classes and a devoted faculty, we are able to recognize and nurture each student’s unique talents.
Benedictine is a military school, which is committed to developing skills in leadership, discipline, teamwork and acceptance of responsibility. Our JROTC program nurtures esprit de corps, camaraderie, and loyalty to our school and fellow Cadets.
Benedictine is a Catholic school which values faith and provides a structure to study the basic tenets of Catholicism. This religious-based education isn’t meant to force Catholicism on our students but rather to explore faith and promote an honorable life. Benedictine has always welcomed students of other faiths with their differing beliefs, adding to the overall spirituality of the school.
We appreciate your interest in Benedictine! If you feel you have what it takes to be a young man of discipline, a young man of conscience, a young man of high achievement, a leader of your peers—in essence, a Cadet—then please contact me to set up a visit and fill out an application.
