The Benedictine Indoor Track Team trains from late November until mid February. The team competes in the Virginia Independent School Association meet to conclude their season. The young men train primarily at the track and field facilities at the Benedictine Abbey and participate in meets in indoor track venues like St. Christopher's, the Arthur Ashe Center, and Fork Union Military Academy. The young men have the opportunity to participate in all track and field events. Field events include shot put, long jump, high jump, and triple jump. Running events range from sprints, mid distance, long distance, and even hurdles. Indoor track quite often allows Cadets to unlock an unknown potential in track and field. Braving the winter weather and elements the young men work hard to continue to improve on previous performances.
