The Outdoor Adventure Camp is exactly what the name implies. The camp consists of five days of outdoor activities to include obstacle/confidence courses, leadership reaction/team building courses, orienteering, map reading, land navigation, and self-defense. The five-hour days will be packed full of activities and include two field trips to local Army installations. Every camper will finish the camp not only with newly honed outdoor skills but also with a higher sense of self-confidence in their ability to lead and follow in varying situations.
The Outdoor Adventure Camp will be administered by the Military Department. The staff consists of three retired Army Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. They have over 100 years of military experience including numerous tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their military schooling consists of Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, Jump Master, Master Fitness and Drill Sergeant Schools.
