Faith at Benedictine

Along with academics, Benedictine College Prep’s principal driver is our Catholic faith. Our mission is not necessarily to make a young man Catholic, but to prepare him to be a devoted husband and selfless father.

That young man will learn how to exercise his conscience, appreciate Christian virtue and seek truth in Christ.Benedictine is the only school in Richmond where a young man can find academics rooted in eternal truth.

Some metrics to consider:

  • A Benedictine Cadet will pray with his classmates approximately 1,400 times over the course of the school year.
  • He will attend Mass about 35 times during that same school year.
  • He will have the opportunity to go to confession, participate in religious retreats and learn from dynamic and well-versed theologians.
  • A Cadet will attend theology classes throughout his four years at the school.
