Register for the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). Please note, you must register on-line 3 weeks prior to the SSAT testing dates, which is only offered once a month on a Saturday from October to June (except May). Registration/additional information is at www.ssat.org
Also, please note that when you register for the SSAT, you will be asked to select a score recipient (where you want the test scores sent), please select Benedictine College Preparatory #1575 at this time so BCP will receive the scores in a timely manner. The parents will also be e-mailed a copy of the test scores.
Once we have a completed file, applicants are invited to BCP for a personal interview with the Director of Admission. During this visit, you will be asked several questions regarding your application and your interest in BCP. Also, this is the perfect time for you to ask questions of us. The interview is informal and relaxed, so there is no reason to be nervous. We just want to get to know you a little better!
For those students who have applied by January 31, 2020, notification letters are mailed March 6, 2020, in conjunction with the other independent high schools in the Greater Richmond area. BCP will continue to accept applications after January 31, 2020.
Please visit our Admission Timeline for more information on the schedule of admission events.
