Mac Foley

Benedictine is excited to welcome Mac Foley back for his second year as the director and head varsity coach of its lacrosse program, in addition to his primary duties as an English teacher.  Prior to joining Benedictine, Coach Foley served as an assistant coach at the Collegiate School for three years under Andrew Stanley while gaining valuable teaching experience there as well as in the Chesterfield County Public School system. In addition to teaching, Coach Foley has a background in sales as a New Home Advisor for HHHunt Homes.

As a Richmond native, Mac is a graduate of Collegiate School and Hampden-Sydney College where he continued to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. In addition to coaching the Cadets, Coach Foley is an active member in the lacrosse community in previously coaching for the Richmond Hawks for 3 years (previously the Next Level Greyhounds) and is now a co-director of Fusion Richmond.  Along with his Cadet staff and players, Mac volunteers throughout the year with the Geronimo Lacrosse youth league to help grow the game and establish meaningful relationships.

Be sure to say "hey" to Coach Foley whenever you see him around campus or on the field.  He's a hard guy to miss!  Go Cadets!
