On Wednesday, August 28, parents and guardians had the chance to be introduced to their sons' schedules during Back To School Night. Teachers informed the parents of Cadets about their sons' classes and what is expected from them.
The program was held at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium and ended at 9:30 p.m. It began with parents being introduced and greeted by Mr. Jesse Grapes, the school headmaster and Michael Bussman, assistant headmaster.
After the 20-minute opening, parents were dismissed to their son's classes. Every class was held for a seven-minute period with a five-minute break between classes. The event closed with a dessert reception at 9:00 p.m.
A select number of Cadets were used as tour guides to aid parents who had any questions. Cadets were allowed to join their parents in the event; however, it wasn't mandatory.
Parents who want to ask more personal questions about their son will have the chance at Benedictine's Meet the Teacher events. The gatherings will be held from Sep. 23 to Sep. 25, starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. This event is intended for parents that prefer one- on-one talks about their sons with those who teach them
