We all know about how big the video game industry is in the United States but we never really get to delve into the players of these games.

At Benedictine we have one of the best Call of Duty players to ever grace a PlayStation controller. The newly appointed tech manager at BCP, Mr. Gupta, is an avid Call of Duty fan and was once ranked 100th in the world on the blockbuster game Modern Warfare 2.

With twenty million copies sold, it says something if you're one of the top 100 of players in the world. On Modern Warfare 2, Gupta scored a 113-kill streak, an absurd score, in what was his best match on the game.

His weapon of choice was the M4A1 a depiction of the modern-day M4. Gupta's favorite Call of Duty map is the legendary Rust, a tiny desert factory setting.

Although MW2 might be his favorite Call of Duty to date, the later installments of the franchise are big favorites of his. These games include, Modern Warfare 1, World at War, Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 1. Gupta is a true Call of Duty connoisseur.

Gupta's stated that his gaming career was jumped when he and his two brothers scraped up enough money to buy a PlayStation 3, which at the time cost around $700. Since then, he has moved onto the much more advanced realm of PC gaming, playing games such as Apex and League of Legends. He might have moved on from the prominent Call of Duty franchise, but he tells us that the legendary game series will always hold a soft spot in his heart.
