Benedictine College Prep’s Middies boys' baseball program was first started by a group of alumni Cadets with a passion for bringing athletics to Richmond-area Catholic middle school student athletes. Since its inception in 2006, the Middies program has grown leaps and bounds and currently services hundreds of middle school athletes in 4 sports: football, baseball, lacrosse, and wrestling. The Middies Program provides athletic teams for middle school boys from area Catholic, independent, and public middle schools. Home-schooled students are also welcome to join our program. We welcome all 7th and 8th grade boys to contact us today about Middies Baseball.
Practices and Games
The teams practice at Tuckahoe Little League and play games (some practices) at Benedictine Schools of Richmond Abbey campus (12829 River Road). Away games are played at various local schools. Middies baseball begins practice in February. For questions regarding Middies baseball, contact Rob Bradley:

Why Play Middies Sports
Middies baseball is a great opportunity for 7th-8th grade boys to learn and grow in their sport, gain confidence, build character, as well as meet fellow athletes from different schools and build new relationships. In addition, Middies baseball players have an opportunity to work with high school coaches.
About Our Facilities
The Benedictine Schools of Richmond operates Saint Gertrude High School and Benedictine College Preparatory. Together the schools share a peaceful, modern, and sprawling campus including the campus’s new, world-class athletic facilities, an auditorium, newly renovated baseball field, athletic fields, and a new state-of-the-art gymnasium.
