In our Faith
At Benedictine we embrace our faith and find our shared religious experiences help build us into better leaders and a better school.
We have always had a strong faith component at our school. In the old days, in fact, Benedictine monks taught nearly every class. That is no longer the case. While Benedictine monks reside at the co-located abbey, they no longer teach, chiefly because of their ages.
Nevertheless, the monks still serve as role models of righteously-lived lives--lives full of work and prayer.
Our Cadets emulate these men, in part, through their study of scripture and the application of those learnings to real-life situations, including when in positions of leadership.
If we can develop men who are deliberate, thoughtful, merciful, inspirational and courageous, the we have developed men who will be great leaders.
